Guided tour: Geneva's Old Town and the City's History
15:30 - 17:30
(Limited to 20 people, in English)
Free
Discover Switzerland’s largest historic city, dominated by St. Pierre’s Cathedral, a key site in the history of the Reformation. Explore the Old Town with its cobbled streets, shaded terraces and clear-water fountains. Set against a stunning green backdrop, admire the Wall of the Reformers, a monumental tribute to the figures who made Geneva the "Protestant Rome". Your guide will reveal many of Geneva’s historical treasures!
The tour will start at the Place de Neuve, next to the monument in the center of the square. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, if possible. Wear comfortable shoes and maybe bring an umbrella in case it rains (but don't skip the tour if it's rainy; Geneva is even more beautiful in the rain!) . Also bring a water bottle - there will be plenty of water fountains on your way with drinkable water, and it's delicious in Geneva!
The tour will last 2 hours and will be led in English. The tour will take place even if it rains (the chance of rain is currently low during the tour time, though).

Open-air social at Perle du Lac: 18:00 - 22:00, Free
CANCELLED DUE TO EXPECTED BAD WEATHER
If it doesn't rain, we'll be able to come back to the Perle du Lac park for an early evening social at the lake. The location overlooks Geneva Lake, has a wooden floor, and has a small snack bar where you can get drinks and get a quick bite. Please don't bring bags or other valuables; try to keep everything on you (it's an open area with free access for anyone, and there is no on-site cloakroom). We will confirm whether the party is on shortly after 2 pm.
Your DJs for the evening will be Luis, Tuli, and Julian the Duke.

Opening night
22:00 - 05:00
@ OptimHall, 4 chemin de la Gravière, 1227 Acacias, Geneve
We'll open the ball at our main venue, the beautiful OptimHall, which refurbished its dance floor last year to better accommodate our dancers!
Doors will open at 21:50. Please bring your passes (either printed or ready on your phone) and have them ready for scanning at the door!
Dress code (optional): "Welcome to Switzerland." Let your fantasy run wild. You may wear red and white, get dressed in cheese patterns, or wear your best cow-print dress.
During the night, you'll have free water, tea, coffee, and snacks. We'll have reusable glasses, but feel free to bring your reusable water bottle if you wish.
During the party, we encourage you to dance with at least 3 people you've never danced with before, and to ask at least once someone who's standing by the wall to dance. Trust us, this will make their day, and you may discover rare gems!
Free parking is available at the Aligro supermarket across the street from 19:30 to 6 am.

How to get to OptimHall (our evening venue)
The venue is a short walk from both the Starling Hotel Residence and Swiss Home Hotel (under 10-12 minutes). If you are staying at Ibis Petit Lancy, you can either walk down or take tram 14 to Jonction (direction Meyrin) and walk 4 minutes from the Jonction tram stop.
