Venue
Perfectly Mambo Geneva Weekend will be held once again at the beautiful OptimHall in the Acacias neighborhood of Geneva, just steps away from the river Arve and a short walk from central Geneva. With its high ceilings, smooth dance floor (upgraded after last year's edition!), great acoustics, lounge and bar areas, and the capacity to welcome as many as 900 dancers (although we limit the number to 500), it's a perfect place to give our mambo dancers a delightful experience.
For our out-of-town guests who will be driving, there will be plenty of parking spaces around the venue. You can also easily reach the venue by public transport (Bus 11 or Tram 15) - and public transport is free in Geneva if you stay in any of Geneva's hotels!
Travel arrangements
Geneva is a major travel hub, with direct flights to over 50 cities in Europe and the rest of the world and an impressive railroad system. The airport is only 7 minutes by train from the city center, and trains run very often and cost very little (so don't spend money on taxis or Ubers from the airport into town!)
The venue is easily accessible by public transport, and trams and buses run late into the night on the weekends.
If you stay in one of Geneva's hotels, you will get a free public transport card for the city of Geneva, so you can get around town (including across the lake on the little Mouette boats) completely free.
For our intercontinental friends: the fast train from Paris takes only 3 hours to get to Geneva and doesn't cost much, so you may explore this travel option to save on flights! The same goes for Zurich - it's 3 hours away from Geneva by train, and flights into Zurich often cost less than flying directly to Geneva.
